Huda is Clinical Reader in Dental Public Health at Queen Mary University of London and a Consultant in Public Health at NHS England (London). She is the current President of the European Association for Dental Public Health. She is the UK Chair of the Speciality Advisory Committee for Dental Public Health at the Royal College of Surgeons (England) and Training Programme Director in London.

She is the lead for dental public health for undergraduates. She supervises MSc, PhD students and dental postgraduates in dental public health.

Her research interests include translational research, developing and evaluating complex interventions with a focus on health inequalities and marginalised populations.

Huda graduated in 1998 from King’s Dental Institute. She worked in Hospital, Community Dental and General Dental Services. She completed her MSc in Dental Public Health in 2004 at UCL. She trained as a specialist in Dental Public Health whilst  completing her PhD at UCL in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health.
