Dr. Aristomenis I. Syngelakis is Co-President (2024) of the European Association of Dental Public Health (EADPH) and Organizer of the 28^th EADPH Congress in Greece (3-5 October 2024, Heraklion-Crete). He is also the Chief Dental Officer of Greece and the President-Elect of the Council of European Chief Dental Officers (CECDO).

He holds a Degree in Dentistry, a Degree in Political & Administration Sciences, a M.Sc. in Health Management, a M.Sc. in Community Dentistry, and a Ph.D. in Dental Public Health. He is a Scientific Collaborator at the School of Dentistry, European University Cyprus; at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Athens; as well as at M.Sc. Health Management Programs, Hellenic Open University and University of Western Attica.

He has worked as a top management official in the Greek National Health System. He currently works at the Greek Ministry of Health; Department of EU co-funded health projects. He used to be Vice President of European Dental Students (1995-1996) and President of the 2nd Congress of the European Dental Students (Athens, 2-6.10.1996).
